So much to say, so little relevance or coherence.

Today, in 2001 my dad died. I miss him, but it’s not that same screaming sense of grief I used to feel. (ah, I love alliteration) I cooked breakfast for mom and I, participated in the monthly church prayer thing, and worked on repairing a computer for use at Mount Diablo Habitat for Humanity. I also found out the minister of my church and his ex-wife are two of the people who started Mt Diablo Habitat. Small world.

I also went to therapy, invaded Rita’s, and worked on my amusement park (I really love Rollercoaster Tycoon). All in all it’s been an okay day. A good day really, though you wouldn’t necessarily know it from my mood.

Somber day. Not bad, just somber.

Oh, and John, the minister at the church, has finally disappointed me. I’m not sure what I was expecting when he asked me what was going on in my life (and I responded that it was the anniversary of my dad’s death), but “anyway, I’ve got a lot to do today and need to get going” wasn’t it. Apparently I shouldn’t have answered that question honestly. Oops.

Oh well. That’s why I believe that religions aren’t mutually exclusive. If you can’t find what you need from one, borrow from another.
