No, my life isn’t that bad. It seemed apt when I was hungry, cranky, and fighting with one of my computers though.

Actually my life is damn good. The idea just sort of stuck with me, so now y’all are being punished with it. Yay me :)

It’s always interesting to see how other countries see us….

It’s been a long time since I’ve had to deal with obnoxious, teenage boys. But lately, I seem to run into them all the time. It’s been a long time since anyone dared to tease me about my weight, but now there’s been several incidents over the last couple weeks. I was able to kind of brush off the first two or three, but the last couple have really started to get to me. This, combined with an article/editorial I read yelling at girls with love handles for wearing clothes that show their mid-riff, has started to affect my dreams. Last night I dreamt I came out of the rest room with my shirt still part way untucked, so part of my belly showed. I must have been in one of those public toilets in San Francisco, because I exited onto a crowded city street, where a horde of people were yelling, “tuck in your shirt, you fat whore.” In the dream, the voices were all male.

It hasn’t gotten to me in nearly as bad a way as I thought it would though, mostly because I woke up to my phone ringing with Monacita on the line, ecstatic because she’s been accepted into the moderate-severe credential program at CSU Hayward. Yay her!

I’m so happy for her and proud of her I could pop. :)

Weird. Seems like everyone is unavalible today. Rita is at her first day of work. Dunno where Ici is. Monacita hasn’t been on instant messanger any of the times I’ve popped in and checked. Even the people at the CSU Hayward Biology department weren’t avalible. Random Random Random

Of course, my mother is home in the next room, I should really go talk to her.

I feel adrift and vaguely out of control.

This isn’t an inherently bad feeling, but it’s not the most comfortable state I’ve ever been in, THAT’s for damn sure.

Ah well, enough babble. I’m sure I’ve got something I should be working on.

Beltane has not turned out to be what we expected. Illness and general discord left the wiccaning group at a total of two: Rita and I. Her brother helped with setting up. We played Unreal Tournament 2004. We had margaritas.

I love margaritas.

I love tequila.

That’s defintiely the tequila talking, but damned if I’m not having a great time while it talks.

I’m SO glad that my first great drunk wasn’t on tequila. I don’t know what it would be like if I couldn’t stand the stuff.

Not that I have it all that often. But it’s wonderful for those special occasions, like those Sabbats gone wildly awry.

Rita says she plans on spending her early 50s drink martinis on the porch. At one time I agreed with her. Now I plan on spending my early 50s drinking margaritas. Excellent.
